Then it’s time do do so now!

I think the very important point to take away is that this issue is about trust. People who want to restrict guns simply don’t trust anyone else around them. They worry about their friends and neighbors brandishing firearms in schools, getting drunk and starting shootouts, and blowing away fellow motorists over parking disputes.

If that’s your view of humanity, then of course allowing people arms seems like a horrible idea. But what an isolating way to live it must be to imagine that anyone around you might be a murderous crazy person.
